I think that one of the reasons that it failed was improper marketing ... In fact even the monkeys hadn't heard of it ...
I also regret having unveiled it along with those other special days which I have no intention of reviving ... Like "Wet the Bed Wednesday:"
And I don't even want to talk about "Throw Your Poop Thursday" except to say that it was a mistake:
But it's not the monkey's fault that they got thrown in with some protomemes which just happened to be absolutely disgusting.
Also there are plenty of routines about monkeys which don't necessarily involve poop (which tends to be the part that upset people):
It also ties very well into the Creation-Evolution debate which has so obsessed the Infidel Blogshere whoa these many years:
There are lots and lots of articles and documentaries about monkey and ape: psychology, genetics, you name it ...
I also think it would provide some structure to this page for me to have a subject that I am forced to sit down and blog about at least one day a week.
So give the monkeys another chance, they actually speak very highly of you!
